As a technology entrepreneur, Polk previously founded an internet marketing platform for auto dealerships that grew exponentially to be named one of Inc Magazine's Fastest Growing Companies and he was also named to the Dallas 100 Entrepreneur Award list both in multiple years. After 8 years, he successfully exited this technology business.

Polk holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.
